TABLE GATHERINGS
WHAT ARE TABLE GATHERINGS?
Table Gatherings are simply a gathering of people that seek God together. Table Gatherings are based on what we see the early church doing in Acts 2:46-47. The early church would meet and have meals together. They did life together because sometimes life can get overwhelming by ourselves. Each Table Gathering focuses on learning more about God, encouraging and helping one another, seeking God through prayer, and discipleship.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
Table Gatherings are open to anyone and everyone that would like to attend. Church members are highly encouraged to be a part of a Table Gathering. However, these gatherings are not exclusive to Cornerstone Church members. If you are interested in attending a Table Gathering, then please contact us or sign up at church at our Cornerstone Connections Table.
WHEN ARE THEY?
Tuesdays at 10:30 am in the Fellowship Hall led by Wesley Smith & David Whitman.
Wednesdays at 7:00 pm in Asheboro led by Don & Kathy Graves.
Fridays at 7:00pm in the Fellowship Hall led by Pastor Bernard & Pastor Lisa.
Cornerstone Recovery
What is Cornerstone Recovery?
Cornerstone Recovery is a small group that provides Christ-centered support for anyone struggling with hurt, pain, or addiction of any kind. It is a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that are controlling your life.
When is Cornerstone Recovery?
Cornerstone Recovery meets on Monday nights at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall and is led by Stephanie Reeder. If you are interested in joining or have any questions then please contact us.
Discipleship Groups
What are Discipleship Groups?
Discipleship Groups are groups of 2-5 people who gather on a regular basis for discussion, prayer, and mutual encouragement. The purpose of these groups is to provide a safe space for us to talk about what is going on in our lives. These groups are gender specific and are encouraged to meet once a month. If you are interested in forming a new group or joining a group already in progress then please contact us and we will assist you.
You Can Start One Today!
Discipleship Groups can be started by anyone at any time. The process is simple. Simply pick up a packet from our Cornerstone Connections Table at church, read over it, find 2-4 more people and begin meeting! We encourage everyone to be in a group but these groups are not something that the leadership of our church oversees. Anyone can start a group at any time. Our church is here to help!
